How to Setup a TP-Link Archer AX23 AX1800 Router using the web management page.

Step 1

Connect an Ethernet cable from your router's WAN port to the NTD/ONT device.

Step 2

Access the web management page

Connect your PC, notebook or mobile to the TP-Link router either by WiFi or an Ethernet cable to one of the yellow LAN ports.

WiFi Details are printed on a label on the bottom of the router.

Open a web browser and type either http://tplinkwifi.net/ or http://192.168.0.1/ in the address bar.

A login screen should be displayed.
Log in using the following details:

Username: admin
Password: admin

(Alternatively, the default username and password details may be printed on a sticker on the TP-Link router)

Step 3

Complete the Setup Wizard.

Create a password to log in.

Select your time zone.

Step 4

Select the connection type.

Opticomm connections should select Dynamic IP.
All other connections (nbn, Lynham Networks, Frontier Networks) should select PPPoE.

If your connection type is PPPoE, enter the username and password provided by your ISP.

Step 5

Optional: Customize the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless networks of the TP-Link wireless router.

Step 6

Wait for the router to test the internet connection.

Step 7

Set the Update Time you would like or Skip it.

Step 8

Done! Please enjoy your internet.
